SafePlace Electronics Recycling Program
SafePlace would like to invite you to participate in our Electronics Recycling Program! We are collecting used consumer electronics to be recycled in accordance with EPA regulations, providing us with a funding opportunity with 100% of the proceeds helping to fund our programs and services. You benefit by reducing your taxable income and avoiding the costs associated with electronic waste – all while supporting an organization you believe in.
Through community contributions, individuals come together to make an impact on the lives of thousands of survivors. The SafePlace Electronics Recycling Program is an easy way you can give in support of the programs and services that are so vital to our continued success.
We are currently collecting the following items:
• Cell Phones
• Laptop Computers (we cannot accept desktop computers/monitors)
• iPads & Tablets
• iPods & MP3 Players
• Electronic Book Readers (Kindle, Nook, etc.)
We are reaching out to the community to collect these items, and encouraging individuals to organize small drives with coworkers, friends, and neighbors on our behalf. So please keep us in mind when upgrading phones, or grab those old laptops and iPods taking up space at home and ask your friends or coworkers to do the same. SafePlace will earn funds for all items collected, regardless of age or condition.
Participating organizations will not incur any shipping costs - the items can be picked up by SafePlace, or dropped off at the SafePlace Resource Center.
