Men Rally For Change
Sponsored by SafePlace, Men Rally For Change is a collaboration of men, women and youth speaking out against sexual and domestic violence, while speaking up for safe communities and healthy relationships. Men Rally For Change works throughout the year to strengthen men and boy’s involvement in ending violence against women and girls. We want men to be positive role models and to show others that being strong does not mean being violent.
People, especially men, who lead by example, volunteer in their communities, mentor youth and speak out against sexism, homophobia, racism and all other forms of oppression.
Open dialogue with community leaders, organizations, schools, coaches, fathers and youth in an effort to increase healthy and positive relationships in our community.
People who critically examine the media and speak out against sexist and negative messages.
Men who stand up for women’s rights to be safe in their homes, relationships, and community.
We believe honest discussion of violence against women, children and other men, as a men’s issue, is essential for our community as we work towards a future free of abuse.
