Social Change

Through education, advocacy and collaborations with other organizations, SafePlace seeks to promote changes in attitudes of individuals, thereby creating broader behavioral and policy change within our community.

By working in the community with the intent to end sexual and domestic violence, we express our commitment to work toward a time when this violence is eliminated.

In 2012

  • 28,150 individuals learned more about the impact of sexual and domestic violence through presentations, trainings or awareness events conducted through the Community Education program.
