Men Rally For Change

Men Rally For Change is a collaboration of men, women and youth speaking out against sexual and domestic violence, while speaking up for safe communities and healthy relationships.  Sponsored by SafePlace, Men Rally For Change engages school and community partners in an annual rally featuring lively speakers and outstanding performers, and works throughout the year to strengthen men’s involvement in ending violence against women.

We support:

  • People, especially men, who lead by example, volunteer in their communities, mentor youth and speak out against sexism, homophobia, racism and all other forms of oppression.
  • Open dialogue with community leaders, organizations, schools, coaches, fathers and youth in an effort to increase healthy and positive relationships in our community.
  • People who critically examine the media and speak out against sexist and negative messages.
  • Men who stand up for women’s rights to be safe in their homes, relationships, and community.

To advance these goals, we host a community event, aimed to reduce and eliminate violence against women

We believe honest discussion of violence against women, children and other men, as a men’s issue, is essential for our community as we work towards a future free of abuse.
